What Is NEMT?
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provides rides to and from medical appointments for passengers who lack reliable personal transportation. Unlike ambulance services, NEMT is for passengers who are medically stable but need assistance getting to their appointments.
Able Services works with Medicaid, managed care organizations, and other insurance programs to ensure eligible passengers receive the transportation benefit they're entitled to — at no out-of-pocket cost.
Our drivers are trained to assist passengers with varying needs, and our vehicles are equipped for both ambulatory and wheelchair passengers.
